I like the height of the tray and it appears sturdy. The problem I am having with it is trying to get the legs to snap into place. No amount of pressure will work. Every time you pick up the tray the legs fall off.

Bought it for my 14 yr. old, Lhasa mix to help her dine more comfortably. Had to train her to eat from it as she was trained to not eat from any raised surface (tv trays, kids chairs, etc). Luckily, since she won't eat out of a metal bowl, her ceramic food dish fits in the holder & now she loves it.

The quality was very good. Read the directions for putting on the legs. Even though I measured the height with the legs and our pug's height and thought it would be the right height for her, it ended up being at least 2 inches too tall. I had to use it with the legs off. It is well made and I love the metal bowls. The surface area around the bowls is nice and catches bits of food and water instead of it going all over the floor. I was just disappointed about the height. Glad I only got one.

The bowls don't quite fit 2 quarts unless you fill them to the brim which any dog would make a mess of. The bowl is the perfect height for my 90 lb black lab so he no longer has to slouch to get his food, and it has a slight recess around the bowls which helps contain dribbles and spills as he drinks. Being raised off the ground I have not seen a single ant near his bowl which was a problem for his food when his bowls were on the ground.

I purchased this for my Rottweiler pup Rome, 4 months old, perfect and as he grows this is a great height. This feed station disassembles easily for travel. Very sturdy, even for a rowdy Rome.
