Love this game. My children had tether ball years ago and I wanted to get it for when my grandchildren came to visit They never even got to see it before I broke
Would have been nice if the string and ball came with the poles. Now going through a lot of trouble to get the string and ball.
Concrete is recommended to stabilize installation of this set. Product description was misleading. Quality of product looks good but sadly won't work for us. Now we get to return the product and pay for "restocking" so a fee paid to hearthsong for zero tetherball in our backyard. Bummer all around, Hearthsong.
My kids received this as a Christmas gift in 2011. They use it all the time (weather permitting). We did take a 5 gallon bucket, fill it with cement, and insert the ground pole. We then dug a hole in the ground and buried the bucket. This kept the whole system a lot more sturdy!
Very simple to put together, made out of strong durable material,professional grade tether ball set, the only issue is you will have to dig much more than 12 inches the pole is very tall!
