Mainstays Braddock Heights II 7-Piece Patio Dining Set, Seats 6

I've had this set for 6 years-- we always bring it in during the winter and in the spring I grab some black rustoleum and go over some of the joints with it (pretty much where it starts to rust)- a few years ago I replaced the cushions, mainly because of color-- I wanted to do something more colorful on our porch-- the originals faded a great deal. Overall for the price, I am going to buy it again. It's not too heavy, so it's easy to move, and it's been a great addition to our deck-- By the way, we're big people, 200-250 lbs and have never had a problem with the straps snapping or any buckling or other weirdness with the chairs under our weight.

My husband and I purchased this set in 2009 and are currently looking for a replacement. The black metal has faded and is full of rust. When we purchased the set, it looked great but didn't last more than one season. More recently, the glass table top broke and we have discovered that it will be cheaper for us to replace the table than buy replacement glass.

I've had this set for 3 years and now and looking to buy a new set. The rattan backing on the chairs does not hold up (made of plastic material) and is cracking and fraying after Arizona summers. Also, the patio cushions are unrecognizable from what they originally were due to fading, despite being kept under a covered patio and only being in the sun for a couple of hours a day. It seems like a good price, but the quality is not there and you will end up needing another patio set much sooner than you think!

I have been shopping for months for a set. Had very specific specifications in mind in addition to price. Saw this set and ordered it. It looked even better in person and I am pleased with the quality. I would highly recommend it. And at the price point it was a bargain. It says midnight blue but it is black.

We bought this set last summer. While it did not wear well through the year (it did rust and the chairs look very weathered...it looks several years old now), it also didn't survive a small gust of wind that came through today (Memorial Day weekend, no less). We knew we were taking a risk with the weight since it is a cheap product, but the wind that ended up pushing it over wasn't even that bad! The table top broke into a million tiny little chards all over the patio, which made it impossible to clean up. We have two small kids and a dog so this is quite unfortunate. Given the light wind that made it fall over, I would absolutely never recommend this product for a second-floor or higher living space. It's way too light. If you're going to use it for a first-floor patio, be warned that it could potentially blow over on a windy day.
