SINGER Assorted Hand Needles in Compact with Needle Threader, Assorted Sizes, 30 Piece

Never received them

The package contains 30 needles of assorted sizes. I cannot use the smaller ones because my hands are slightly arthritic and I get my nails done at the salon. That makes gripping a small needle difficult. However the larger needles with the big eye are great. They are smoother than the dollar store needles and slide through the fabric with ease. The package comes with a needle threader too. That is a wonderful help. The package does not come with instructions for opening it and it is very tight and hard to open. I needed my husband to open it the first time and to actually figure out the system they used.

This set has 3 packages of regular sewing needles and three more of quilting needles. Generally, the quilting needles are shorter. Several of the regular needles can even be used for beading bigger than tiny beads. The new cases that the needles are housed in are very innovative with a different door for each size and the needles are that great Singer quality.

These needles can be used for many different uses in addition to quilting. The needles are stored in a small case which has a slot for each needle size by itself. The size is marked at the top. It is similar to a silverware tray. It can be opened one size at a time, so if you drop them, they won't all fall out at once and get mixed up. Also, there is a needle threader included. This product is made to be convenient to use. In my opinion, this product just could not be any more user friendly.
