This shower curtain is so sturdy it should last a long time. I placed it in the bath that gets used the most about 2 weeks ago and we really like how it hangs. Also that it has a bit of weight it glides right across the liner rod that it's hanging on. The one we replaced was very light weight causing the shower hooks to get stuck all the time. A shower liner may not be a large purchase however, if you get a thin one it sticks to your body and sometimes blows in at the bottom which can cause water to get onto your floors. Not this one! I would recommend this liner highly! Plus the awesome price-it's a no brainer!

I wanted a long frosty (not see-through) shower curtain liner because my shower curtain (that matches everything from curtains to towels) is very sheer and see-through. I'd previously purchased several clear blue-hued non see-through liners from Walmart that I loved but apparently they don't carry them anymore so I thought I'd try this one. It was too wide (that's what the canopy means, one of those rods that is not straight across but is U shaped) and about 5 inches too long, and no magnets. I returned it. Nothing wrong with it but just didn't work for me.

I purchased this shower curtain liner for my 8 year old son who is learning to take showers (as opposed to baths) by himself. He splashes the water EVERYWHERE!!!! This shower curtain has really, really helped keep the splashed water off the floor and saved me from exasperation over what to do. It hides in the shower nicely behind the shower curtain. I especially like the reinforced grommets that seem to hold up well against an 8 year old yanking on it. Even if you don't splash a lot in the shower, this shower curtain liner can give you extra assurance that water doesn't splash out from under the shower curtain and get on the floor.

I purchased this liner to replace one that I had previously purchased at Walmart, about 6 years ago. This one is much thinner and it is not quite as long. It is a hair shorter and therefore just barely fits into the bottom of the shower stall. Where the folds were in the curtain it sticks straight out and the water drips down the curtain and onto the floor. I imagine once the liner has settled the folds will disappear and this will not happen. Overall, I am not pleased with this liner.

I have been buying heavy duty shower curtains for our apartments for years at WalMart. I was expecting these to be the same as the explanation sounded the same. I don't know yet how long they will last, but they are not as heavy as before.
