I bought this door chime for use in my mobile home (70 ft. long). Did not work when I attached the push button on the aluminum siding next to my front door........ about 25 ft from where the chime was plugged in. Used sticky velcro tape to attach the push button onto a pane of glass in the exterior front door. The unit then worked well. Loud, clear chime that I could hear anywhere in my home. Seems like the mobile home wall blocked the signal.
This was exactly what I needed, and installaion time was minimal. The doorbell's frequency will interrupt function of a baby monitor, but changing channels on one item or the other solves the problem immediately.
Mine would not work all the time
It was extremely easy to install, especially for an old man such as I. It was loud enough to hear through-out the house and it's chime was very pleasing. My wife & I are very pleased with the value & it more than meets our needs.
Great little gadget. So easy to install. I love the plug in feature. Only have to change batteries in the push button. Very loud sound that can be heard all around the house.
