Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Orange Supreme Cake Mix 18.25 oz

Why do you not carry the orange cake mix anymore, there are some great recipes for this mix. I make a Orange Dream cake. If the demand is out there why not bring it back. Why don't you take the time and explain why, to those who love to bake!! Like the old saying goes - if it's not broke why fix it.

Sometimes I make this just so I can have the batter left in the bowl! Lol. I love the cake too & sometimes add almond extract or orange liquer & makes it even better. But I cannot find it anywere in Dallas, TX to save my life! Please bring it back to the stores & let me know where I can find it near 75228.

The Best Buy date was 10-19-16. I didn't use it until 8-18-17. The date was so hard to read that I had to put my glasses on to see it. That being said, I didn't realize it needed more baking powder or more eggs until after I baked it. So the ends were small and it had a big belly. It had a stinky smell that is a common to Florida, that ends up in the water and some of the groceries. I'm not sure if this came from the cake mix or if the chickens ate those big bugs before they produced and laid their eggs. After the cake was finished, I tasted more cinnamon than any other flavor. I thought I might have tasted mandarin orange for a minute there. The orange Funfetti icing I bought for it was gross. I threw it out and used a green one that tasted more like vanilla. Normally I wouldn't put those two colors together, but that's all I had. It tastes okay together but wasn't sure if it was good enough to serve to other people. Even though this might not be a fair judgment or test, I don't think I will be buying it again. I will buy Duncan Hines again, just not this flavor, unless a recipe calls for it.

I had to buy it for an italian cookie recipe (I didn't get any) ...I did made the cake itself , I liked it....Its was different. I liked it better than the orange soda version. However doing the shipped to the walmart for pick , I will not be doing again. Ring the bell and no one showed up. Ring again and Again. After more than 30minutes, I had to goto the front to find someone to get my package. Even then it was an unwanted chore ....
