Betty Crocker Dark Chocolate Brownie Mix Family Size, 19.9 oz

Not only has Betty Crocker been my all time favorite cake and dessert brand, but the Dark Chocolate Brownies have always been my favorite brownies. They're absolutely decadent! They're quick and easy, and very versatile. You can basically add anything to the batter or even a topping after they're baked. Instead of water, I always add brewed black coffee to enhance the dark chocolate richness, and sometimes do a butter/oil combo (half butter/half oil). This combination gives it a rich buttery taste and keeps the brownie most. Today I made another batch and added icing and rainbow sprinkles. I've tried the Milk Chocolate Brownies also, but the Dark are my favorite. When I want a brownie, I want it to be a deep, dark rich chocolate just like these. Their quick price can't be beat either. A true Win Win!

These used to be our families favorite brownies. Everyone LOVED them. You ruined them and we are very upset!!! Will never buy again or recommend (I used to tell everyone how great they were) unless they change the recipe back. We want our fudgy dark chocolate brownies back please!!!!!

My husband brought a box home and after tasting it we both said this is not what we used to buy. It has a fruity taste best I can compare is prunes. Doubt we eat any but these two pieces. Sorry but this is awful. They are not close to expiration and we used fresh ingredients. However you changed the recipe it was not for the best.

The brownie mix is like any other brownie out there. It used to be so delicious now it's cake like, just like the other brands out there. Too bad they changed it as I'll have to look for another brand that has the texture of what it used to be like. BIG mistake in whoever decided to change the recipe. Maybe with a ton of bad reviews on the new recipe you go back to the way it was. Change isn't always better.

I'm so upset. I am known as the brownie queen! Betty Crocker dark chocolate brownie mix is better than scratch-made and was what I used. They are ALWAYS requested for school functions, church functions, both mine and my husband's coworkers, potlucks, family holiday gatherings, bake sales, or just a request for dessert at home. I even had a neighbor ask me if I'd make them for a gift basket she was giving to a sick friend. My grandchildren request them all the time. My mother is still salty because my dad told me 15 years ago that my brownies were better than hers. I keep no less than 15 boxes in my pantry at all times. WHY would you ruin your best brownie mix? I can't make these for anyone. My grands won't even eat them. PLEASE go back to the original recipe AND box size. You've ruined a great thing! None of your other brownie mixes even come close to being as good. There is no substitute so please go back to the original.
