I've been using these for years and the product still cannot be safely opened by following the instructions. I have cut my fingers many times using scissors and knives to cut the plastic wrap off. If you follow the instructions you, the plastic wrap will cut the flesh under your finger nails as you try to pry it off. If you use a scissor or other tool, you are likely to jab yourself. The only way to open this product safely is to forceably pull the entire top off the product. When the cap and wrapping are fully off the base, then you can use a scissor to safely cut the exposed plastic. Then reattach the top to the base. Other methods are all unsafe!

What I like about this product is the cost, obviously. It's incredibly more cost-efficient than the name brand--even when applying coupons to the name brand. It works about 95% as effectively as the name brand. It's only towards the end of the bottle that I feel like it's not working as well.

This has helped open up my nasal passages enough that I could sleep recently. It is easy to use. However, I have read that this medication may make cataracts worse. After reading that info, I realized that when I was using this previously, it was during a period in which my cataracts got worse. This may have been just coincidence or it may have been cause and effect. I have had cataract surgery, so thought I might try it again; however, I still wonder what other effect it might have on the eyes.

Seasonal allergies started in my 30's. Spring and Fall, especially, whatever is blooming or dying and floats in the air affects my nose. It is completely blocked. I used OTC nasal spray for colds for two years straight (oxymetazoline). Educating myself and this becoming OTC changed my life.

My allergies cause me ear problems believe it or not and this has helped my sinus cavity which goes to my ear canal.. my eustacia tube...not sure that is spelled right.. in my ear gets bigger and smaller due to allergies .. water gets trapped behind my ear drum constantly and causes a lot of ear problems .. this product seriously helps with that!
