Right away I could smell the aroma, which is very pleasant, even before opening the jar. The ointment has a smooth texture glide on it leaves a very pleasant pine like scent. I used it on my wrist where I have arthritis and within minutes it was effectively neutralizing the pain. I am very excited about this product! the packaging is very eye catching also.

I grew up with older family members using Tiger Balm, so the scent is very familiar as well as knowing it works pretty well. Great for sore muscles and soothing aches but be warned that the scent is very strong. Amazing product but I find the scent to be a bit overwhelming.

Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Ointment really helped the soreness in my wrist due to having carpal tunnel. Working on a computer all day, I've found that the medicinal properties in this balm targets the pain and allows me to finish out the work day with minimal breaks from typing or clicking a mouse. There is a very strong scent of menthol that is growing on me the more I use the ointment. It also absorbs quickly and doesn't leave my skin feeling slick or greasy.

Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Ointment offers a fast convenient way to relieve pain. It works on muscles, joints,backaches, arthritis and more. This ointment absorbs quickly and went to work right away to relief my muscle soreness. It does have a strong scent which can be overwhelming at first.

Upon opening the balm out of the box, I could faintly smelled the balm. The smell did not grow significantly stronger when I actually used it. The active ingredients provided cooling yet warm sensation to the troubled area. I massaged the balm and felt it provided a decent relief. The texture of the balm was not too sticky as long as I didn't use too much of it. I would consider purchasing this product again but might opt for a higher strength for pennies more.
