These tires came on my F-150 TWO wheel drive Ford pickup. Just turned 20k and the Ford dealer told me that they have maybe another 10K before I won't get an inspection sticker with them. Tires were rotated at each dealer oil change and even 1K less than recommended each time. Also need to mention I run another set of Winter tires which makes the wear even worse because that means they don't even have 20K on them. I am over 60 years old and don't spin the tires obviously which would add wear to them. I understand that most tires that come on new vehicles win bids so I can only imagine that they have to cut corners (no pun intended) to win the bids to get the contracts from the manufacturers. They are rated as 90K tires so you tell me how to get that milage out of them. Also need to mention I constantly at least every two weeks check the air pressure with a professional air guage. Good luck buying Michelin and if you do hope you have better luck. I am certain this review will not make it for others to read.
These tires came as original equipment on a 2010 Ford XLT Supercrew pickup. I've only had the truck for 8 months now, but the area I live in has had nearly twice the usual rainfall, so I can speak to the wet traction afforded by these Michelins. Driving on freeway and two lane, I have been pleasantly surprised by the grip and the quiet ride. I replaced the air in the tires with nitrogen. I will be buying these Michelins when the time comes to replace them.
Our 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Big Horn came from the factory with Michelin tires. They provided a very smooth ride. The tires were rotated every three months when we had the oil hanged. We had to replace the tires after about 70,000 miles although they had many, many more miles of tread life. They had dry rotted and showed small cracks in the outside tirewalls. We purchased Michelin again for our peace of mind because we were satisfied with the overall performance of the previous tires and it was the auto manufacturer's recommendation. The ride with the new set doesn't appear to be as smooth as the previous ones. It is a little rougher and bouncier so special effort is made to maintain a tire pressure that is commensurate with the load.
I use my 2012 RAM 2500 on and off the road. This is the only tire I need! It rides smooth and quiet yet gets the job done off the road when I need it. I have 15,000 miles on them and they still like they have the same amount of tread as when it rolled off the show room floor.
Bought the tires for my 2004 3/4 ton Chevy PU. All the guys at the tire shop kept telling I git the best tires money could buy. They were right! They wear like iron. No road noise. Great traction in rain. I would recommend them to anyone. The next set of tires for my other truck will be Michelin.
