5-drawer Chest - Bishop Pine

Dont buy this expecting to get Ashley furniture... it is a $100 dresser... which hapens to be a VERY good value for this product. I have bought more expensive furniture that has not been this sturdy. We have had it for 3 months now in my sons room and there is nothing wrong. I believe that if something breaks on this than you have not put it together right... It has been very sturdy and I have had no problems with the drawers or locking mechanism. The handles are a bit ugly, to say the least, but we just replaced those with better looking ones from the hardware store and now this is one great dresser.

We needed a cheap dresser to get us by for a while. We purchased this even though I wasn't crazy about the look of the wood. It was very cheap looking, when we opened the box, pieces were broken off the wood! Also there was a little thing called INSTRUCTIONS that were missing.! So I had to package it all back up and drag it back to the store because there was no company on the box to call, trust me it isn't light and I'm 8 months pregnant! It has been nothing but a hassle and I think I will just spend a little extra next time!!

We bought 2 of these dressers and the nightstand. They were very complicated to put together. They look really cute but the first day my son went to get his pj's out of the drawer the board fell through to the next drawer. We had it set that you could only open one drawer at a time and once the clothes fell that drawer was half open and we couldn't open or close any drawers. It looks really nice in the boy's room, I just wish the drawers were alittle sturdier.

I know it was only $100.00 but that doesn't mean that it should be Garbage... When I got it put together and stood it up I thought it was going to fall apart, it was swaying from side to side. The dresser looks nice but it needs support braces across the back to keep it from swaying like that. If I were to put it in the kids room and not put it up against the wall the first time they lean on it the thing would just fall apart.

This dresser is a very good product for the money. I was looking for a dresser that would be a great addition to my guest room. this dresser was the perfect fit. Great value for the price. I found it was large enough for guests and it is good quality. I did find that you had to interpret the instructions very closely when putting it together. However after a few minutes of diseccting the directions it was easy to get together. I would highly reccommend this for anyone in need of a dresser fix.
