I ended up returnig this item because i no longer needed it for the purpose inteded. However i did open it and it works really well for the price. A small anount of assembly is required but its honestly a great product especially for the low price!
Alright lets clear this up this stethoscope is great for the money don't listen to the crappy reviews I'm so glad I didn't. As for it coming broken its not broken it comes in pieces so it doesn't get a kink in the rubber you just have to simply put it together. It works great I'm starting nursing school and this will work great for me! So go ahead and get one you WON'T be disappointed! For 5 bucks you cant go wrong.
If you are looking for a toy or just more than that, this would meet your expectation. Its hard to hear or distinguish the heart beats from the noise it gives.
Used this to check for water leaks in our home. Works well.
