I have irritable bowel with diarrhea and am rarely constipated. This medication is a lifesaver. Take only what you need, and lower dosage if constipated. I can go to work and out of the house without fear of needing to run to the nearest bathroom at a moment's notice. I have tried diet changes, supplements, fiber, etc. This is by far the most sensible and affordable solution. I have been taking this for years and have never had any obvious side effects. I am very satisfied and heartily recommend to others. Does what it says it will do and I would not be the same without it. The warnings are there for people to heed if they are overdoing it and getting constipated. Everyone is different. Adjust dosage to your needs and try not to take if not needed. Stay away from greasy foods and read up on fodmaps, know your triggers and avoid those. This medicine helps me so much I am scared to be without it. Thank you for making it affordable.

I had my gall bladder removed years ago. I was told buy my doctor to use Imodium AD, but it is so expensive. I compared ingredients & this Equate brand has the same ingredients. It works great & I always keep some with me.
