Mineral Fusion Mascara Volumizing Jet

I had high hopes for this mascara and love that the ingredients are clean. But I wasn't expecting the “midnight” color to be blue, I thought it would be a black shade. It isn't the easiest to apply & after a few hours, it falls on my under eyes & my skin turns blue. Bummed. I wanted to love it but wouldn't buy it again.

Maybe it is because I am trying to stop using drugstore mascara, but this one just isn't working as I thought it would. The color is really nice and dark, but I feel like I have to apply it about ten times to get the amount I need on my lashes whereas the drugstore brand only took about one or two swipes. Maybe letting each layer dry first would help? It also does have more "crumbs" falling off my lashes than I'm used to. Also even just after being out for a couple hours, I find that I have black smudges under my eyes from it just coming off naturally. So yeah, not my favorite. Probably will try a different one next.

I have to be honest and just say that my eyes had a reaction to the mascara . It's weird because I don't get reactions to mascaras. I was hoping because this company is ewg verified, then it may be a safer bet. It didn't really make my lashes bloom. All that happened was my eyes felt irritated and watery ALL day until I took it off:(

They are naturally long and usually clump together with whatever mascara I use. This definitely volumizes my lashes, while not being clumpy. The only downfall is that I wish that it was waterproof.
