Idahoan Baby Reds Mashed Potatoes with Roasted Garlic & Parmesan Side Dish, 4.1 oz

Our family has used these potatoes for years. We are able to complete a quick and easy meal and find these are the best instant potatoes we have used so far. Our daughter loves to use these potatoes when she makes shepherds pie You can add any additional seasonings, milk or butter to make them exactly how you and your family would enjoy. They can be bought in packages for one person to a large family. Works wonderful to thicken homemade soups or stews.

My Mother is 103 and there are not that many foods that she wants to eat (believe me, I have tried!). The Buttery Mashed Potatoes fill the bill for us! She can add BBQ sauce or other flavors in the side as dip for more flavor. I like the taste, too, and we go through many bags a month. Super easy to make. (Suggestion: I use a whisk to mix the flakes in the water to get a perfect texture.) We will definitely keep buying the Buttery Mashed Potatoes.

I 'adjust' all prepackaged foods: Idahoan potatoes get 1/2 cup half and half and 1-1/2 cups water instead of 2 cups water, 2 T at least of butter and a pinch of salt. The unadjusted taste is good, but I customize and make it best!

These are creamy smooth and buttery! I love how easy it is to make and gives me more time to focus on other aspects of a meal or add a side to meal I don't have long to get cooked and out before leaving. Best of all any potato loving kid can make this easily with a microwave. Meaning my son can easily add a side to whatever entree he makes himself on my late nights.

When someone makes mashed potatoes as good as these … relinquish the Mashed Potato Queen title and use theirs … these are the Best with nothing added but water … what more could you ask?
