We recently got this set as an exchange to our recalled set. I must say that even though it looks the same as the other set by the other company, it is much more sturdy. There is no drop side on it, which is hard for me (as I am short) but the crib itself it very sturdy. The mattress support is metal with springs. The dresser is all wood, instead of the back/stabilizer being a piece of cardboard. The only complaint that I have is there seemed to be hidden things in the instructions. After we put the whole set together, we noticed extra screws and went searching for where they were from. Come to find out there is a tiny note about the screws for extra support. It just seemed out of place. So just make sure you review the whole thing. Also, the company didn't always label the pieces correctly, so we had to take a part the drawers and flip everything. Other then that though, it is a great set!!

This came in a huge heavy box...160lbs. You'll need help getting it into and out of your vehicle. It's helpful having two people to put it together. It wasn't hard for my husband and I, we got everything put together in a few hours with breaks in between. I wanted to buy a convertible crib that you can turn into a toddler bed but you can easily take a side of the crib off of this and it can be a day bed (all of the other sets were out of stock so I had to buy this one). The screws all show on the sides of the furniture but if your looking for a great price, this is it. It's sturdy and will definitely get it's use for our last baby. I did need to air out the nursery after we put it all together, the furniture smelled like paint. But I would buy this set again, my husband and I are satisfied.

I have the dark wood one, believe it's espresso. The entire set was $228 and *mostly* made of solid wood. Only the bottom of the shelves (both the dresser and the changing table) is a thin piece of particle board. Also the sides of the dresser drawers and dresser side is particle board. That said, it's a real bargain and looks great, also feels fairly solid for the couple years we'll be using it. We have yet to assemble the crib as it won't fit through our bedroom door, so I am waiting another 6 weeks or so until we do so, but the crib wood looks great and is solid wood. Assembly is easy, good instructions. 5 stars for value *tip on the dresser stops, lay the dresser down when installing the drawers, then bend the white plastic stops a bit so it fits. It's easier than trying to force them in upright.

I havent started using it yet, But this is a beautiful nursery. The crib dresser and changer are all very sturdy. the only down fall was some of the directions were a little iffy. But for the most part assembly was quick and easy. When our baby girl arrives in a few weeks she will have a great nursery.

I love this set of baby furniture. I was a little worried that it would look "cheap" because of the price I paid but it looks great in the nursery. It was relatively easy to put together- my husband did most of it in 3 hours by himself. The hardest part was getting the drawers in with the stoppers on. It takes some strength. The dresser is heavy and sturdy- I was pleasantly surprised. It is a smaller dresser but will be plenty of room for baby outfits. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a nice, affordable, cute matching set of furniture
