Intex 18' x 9' x 52" Ultra Frame Rectangular Above Ground Swimming Pool with Sand Filter Pump

Just got it up today! It was fairly easy to set up. 1 adult and 2 11yr. girls did it in about 2 hours with several breaks, it was so hot out. My daughter will not get out of it even though the water is like ice. It was a great value and well worth every penny. I would highly recommend this pool to my friends and family.

The pool is easy to put up but you need at least 3 or 4 people to put it up. Make sure to put it on solid ground or put boards under the legs. It would be nice if it came with a good surface skimmer.

For the price you can't beat this pool. It's also nice if you aren't to a point where you want to make the commitment of space and money to a permanent above ground pool. It did have a pin hole leak in it which I found when it was half way full. From watching YouTube, it shouldn't be too hard to patch. It went up quickly with 4 people. I would recommend using 4, not 2, as the sides are heavy to hold. I also recommend having your ground leveled by a landscape professional. I made the mistake of hiring some neighbors, and the pool is off by about 3 inches. It's still fine to swim in, but it's a visual annoyance. I'd recommend it for sure.

We have had this pool set up for approximately 3 weeks now and its been great! It took a lot of work to have the ground completely level, we put about 1 1/2 tons of fine sand with a weed sheet on top(for extra protection) and then the included ground cover. The pool cover is very easy to put on and ties down great! We used all recommendations regarding powder for poles and patio blocks for brackets. The ladder feels VERY unsteady but will do. We purchased an Intex Saltwater System on clearance and have had no problems at all, much cheaper than using chemicals. We think the take down process should be fairly easy but we will see in September/October. I highly recommend this pool, the liner is very good quality, easy to set up and our family of 6 has been able to all enjoy at the same time with plenty of room. The shape of this pool is also very useful! I recommend looking for a saltwater system on clearance since the season is coming to an end, we found it almost half the cost at BJs! (One downside I feel will be trying to store the pool properly and safely. Not sure what kind of container it will fit in, we saved the original box for now.)

This particular pool was not available on locally and this was our first order from Walmart.com, since we live in Canada we had it shipped to a parcel service on the border. My wife and I set this up in the morning by ourselves. It was fairly straightforward but we had gone to the internet to get setup tips before hand. Baby powdering the bars made inserting them very easy. It took 10 hours to fill with a garden hose, our city water has a bit of brown to it this time of year and the sand filter cleaned it up over night till it is crystal clear. We also ordered the salt water system to cut down on the chemicals we put in the water. It works like a charm and we expect very little maintenance this year running the pool. It was nice that most everything was included so we weren't running around looking for a ground sheet and a quality pool cover was a wonderful surprise. The size is perfect for the two of us to float around in and have a drink, then slide off the chair and have a swim under water. If we still had kids at home we would be ordering the next size bigger however. We are really happy with the pool and how much we paid for it. Good job Intex and Walmart.
