Crosman ASTLG Auto Reset Target Plastic Shooting & Archery Target

This is great! We have used it for nerf and BB gun shooting. It does reset as described and saves on BBs!

What can one expect for $12? It is mostly made of plastic but it resets really well. I like that there are two sets of targets. My only complaint is that it did not catch the BB's very well. More of the .2 gram BB's I use were bouncing back out than were being captured. I solved that problem by putting clear plastic wrap on the front of the box and tucking the edges between the frame and the mesh cover. Works great! Now I just replace the plastic wrap when I recover my ammo and shoot again right through the plastic wrap. I bought this because I thought it would help with target practice skills and save me money on live ammo. I was right. Lots of fun. More fun than dry fire training. My draw and target acquisition skills are better and I am shooting tighter groups on the live fire range.

For $10 (on sale), you can't expect much. This target system isn't perfect, but for the money, it's a good buy. I purchased it for my children to use with their Nerf guns. I wanted to give them something to shoot other than each other or the dogs. The added benefit of the system is that it catches the darts, so my kids are less likely to lose them, or inadvertently hit something else. The system comes with 2 large, 2 medium, and 2 small targets, that you press into 3 spring-loaded slots. Then, when you shoot the targets, they lock down roughly 60deg from the vertical, i.e. they don't go all the way down. When you hit the target on the left, all three targets pop back up. The Nerf guns are definitely strong enough to push the targets over, even at a distance. I found that flipping the entire system upside down (so the targets are hanging) actually works better than leaving it right-side up. If you're looking for a simple target system, and it's on sale, I would get it.

It seems like it should be bigger then it actually is. It works great!

This is made of plastic, does not hold the BBs as stated. the BBs riquochet back and could take out a window, or your eyeball if used in a backyard setting. The whole thing is just worthless.
