We previously had a trampoline without an enclosure and although my kids are 4 years older than when we got the first one (now 8 and 11), still like the added safety of the net. The main thing I don't like about the net is having to readjust the straps that hold it to the frame at the top. It is a pain to have drag the ladder out each time to adjust when they slide down. Other than that, no problems.
I was worried that it would be a let down in quality and a let down in enjoyment for the kids. I am happy to announce that I worried for nothing. What a great value. Wonderful Quality. The kids LOVE it. So far so good on durability also. We have 2 (11) years olds and a (6) year old that is autistic. They really play hard and no problems to date. Great product!
The picture on the wallmart website does not depict the foam on the support braces accurately. It is a non-sealed foam, highly porous and kind of cheap given the rest of the trampoline pieces. I went ahead before putting the net on the supports and wrapped everything with black duct tape. Cost me $9 total at Big Lots. It looks better and should last a lot longer than the foam covering that was sent in the package.
We love the enclosure!! It is very safe, easy to assemble, and gives us such great peace of mind. We have a 3 year old who goes out by himself at times, and at other times he'll go out with several friends. Either way we feel confident that he is safe and secure on the trampoline
This is a great enclosure. I didn't have one with my other trampoline, but my friends who have, said they like the way it connects to the trampoline. I did find it a bit difficult to manuever the foam padding to place the screws, and I found it even more of a challenge to get the straps of the net tied at the top of the enclosure frame. I was going to get the ladder, but my son did it without me. He's only 5'8'' put he was able to get it done.
