I bought this for my daughters 3rd birthday and she absolutely loves it. It keeps her entertained for hours and I love the handle bars on it. It makes it so much safer especially since she is so clumsy. My only issue with this trampoline is that it took myself with help 2 hours to put together. Getting the bungees on was a horrible experience and my hands were close to bleeding from them pinching me over and over. The instructions were terrible and didn't explain it very well at all. Normally I don't have problems reading instructions and putting things together but this was definitely not fun. Other than that this is a great product but you must have tons of patience for assembly.
Our grandson kept talking about wanting a trampoline after he spent time at his aunt's house, as they have a large one. We had 4 people helping to put the ties onto the frame that hold the trampoline bouncing pad on. It did not take us that long but, our fingers were very sore once completed. I would not recommend that one person try to put it together. Our grandson, who has a very short attention span, does like to jump on it but, not for very long. It seems sturdy enough on flat ground. He spins the color dial but, really does not have much interest in doing the color code jumping. One thing I would suggest is make sure the jumping pad is straight with the handle before attaching all the bungie type cords to the trampoline. We did not and it is off a little bit but, none of us are willing to go through putting the cords back on to straighten it out.
The bouncer is pretty and sturdy, the problem I have is that my very capable husband had a very difficult time putting it together and had to resort to twist ties to get the fabric together. It took hours, he was panting as he wrestled with it--it isn't fair to send a product that should have been professionally put together on the head of the buyer.
My only complaint is this: I didn't buy this sooner. < That is all on me. This product while it took us a little bit to put it together, is definitely worth the time. I don't think my son has been off of it for very long since we got this. Before we got this, my son was jumping on everything. The floor, the couch, the beds. Now, he only jumps on the indoor trampoline, nothing else. My son's overall behavior has gotten a little better as well. He is on the autism spectrum. This has been a very welcome addition to the house. A little tip. There are two tools that are included in this. They look like a weird shaped key with a long handle. The bands that you need to put on fit on the one end of the tool. Use it to wrap the bands around the base. It will be a lot easier, and it will save your knuckles.
Bought this for my 2yo grandson. He loves it! He is learning his colors, loves the "wheel" on the front and uses it like a steering wheel and loves jumping. The only drawback is the handle appears slanted in more in the picture than it really is. I wish it leaned in a little more as he is still short and it is harder for him to hold on while jumping and still get the colors on the back half.
