AVEENO Active Naturals Positively Radiant Intensive Night Cream 1.70 oz (Pack of 2)

I used to love Aveeno's soy-based night cream so much that I chased it thru its many iterations as Aveeno seemed to constantly discontinue and re-brand it as a gel moisturizer, night cream etc because it was that good. NOT ANYMORE! I put this on my face and a minute later it started stinging. Waited another minute and it was full-on BURNING! Washed it off and looked up the reviews to find that I am not the only one. Go back to the original formula, Aveeno, or lose me as a customer forever.

I used the daily scrub in this product, and followed it up with the intensive night cream. The first time I used it I woke up to find I had a break out on one cheek and it was a little red but I didn't think much of it. I used it on Sunday night and woke up yesterday with a large puffed up welt under one eye and under the other it is all broken out and my skin appears to be burned. It still looks terrible after 2 days and I don't know what to do for it. I have always heard great things about Aveeno, I have used the lotions and I thought that this would be great for my face. I won't use it again.

I am experiencing the same issue others posted. I have used the daily cream in this line and LOVE it! Therefore, I thought the night cream would be a similar product. Completely, wrong. I am experiencing itching just like others have described. There are too many complaints on this product. ADMIN: I know I can call you. I tried, but the department is closed. This product needs to be evaluated.

Like so many others, I went to use my normal night cream, to discover that it burned my face, and left the skin red. I'm a regular user of Aveeno products. I use the daily wash and day cream every day. And this night cream is my trusty back up. I use it every month or so when I run out of the truly fantastic night cream that a friend makes in her kitchen. I've done this for years, alternating her night cream with this product. But I was surprised when I bought a new jar yesterday to find that something had changed. I put it on last night and immediately my skin felt stingy. After a minute, it started to burn. I immediately washed it off and put on a calming product that I use every other day. None of this is new or out of my normal routine. Except for the burning, and the red skin that I woke up to this morning. Writing this, my face still burns, and my son says that it looks like I'm wearing blush. So sad, I love this cream, the smell, the calming feeling on my skin, but no more. Be careful if you are new to this cream, and keep the receipt!

I've used the cream three times since I purchased it and the first time I put it on, I thought there was something wrong with my face wash because the burning sensation on my cheeks was not what I'd expect from an Aveeno product (never used them before but all my friends love their other products). The second time, I didn't use a face wash and the burning sensation was still there. It lasts for a couple of minutes but it's not to be mistaken for a cooling minty feel you get from some creams, this one freaked me out a little bit. Surprisingly, the next day my skin felt great and I can tell that the cream is extremely moisturizing. I don't know if anyone else noticed this as well but the cream has an odd scent too. Overall, disappointed with the product - thought I was going to be obsessed with Aveeno from all my friends' reviews but I guess I chose the wrong Aveeno product to start with!
