New Balance 696v4 White/Pigment

The shoe itself was fine. Unfortunately, it was a little small for me. I normally need an extra wide width and the EE did not work. New Balance's EEEE would probably be perfect. The shoe is nicely made, though, and seems to provide good support with very light weight. Joe's New Balance Outlet quickly handled the return and refund with no questions asked. I hope to do business with them again.

Good fit and very comfortable after two weeks. Feel there is good grip and start. A bit softer feel than the 1006 I have worn. I'll be rotating them as I play 3-5xweekly and like airing them out. My expectations are for them to be comfortable and supportive until there might be a west issue after some years.

I'm using these for platform tennis. They are definitely a lower quality than the NB shoes I use for running. I am limited in choice due to my EEEE width. Very utilitarian, no great features to report!

I have very wide feet and it's hard to find brands that carry 2x wide. I was suffering from plantar fasciitis from wearing normal width shoes. Once I switched to these, the pain had subsided. I was a former tennis, who just discovered pickleball. I haven't played tennis in 19 years. When I did play tennis, I played for about 11 years ( 1993-2004). These New Balance tennis shoes were comfortable and light compared to the tennis shoes I've worn in the past, whenever I played tennis. I use these shoes for pickleball. These shoes have a good grip and great stability for moving side to side. They do look like an old man's shoes, but I guess it's function over fashion. I'd buy these again, but hope they would make it more sleek or a ""younger"" version of it.

I purchased this model for two reasons. First, I like how NB shoes fit my feet, which are standard D width but other models fit narrow. Second, I needed court shoes since I picked up Pickleball this year!
