New Balance Mens Fresh Foam 880v11 11.5 Red/Black

880 V10 was my favourite shoe I have ever ran in and I am a huge fan of NB. Expected a similar feel in the V11, but these felt heavier (were actually 20-30g heavier when weighed for same size shoe) and could not feel the support the V10 gave. Feels like a completely different shoe and will be only suited for recovery runs and nothing with any speed.

Having had both of my hips replaced, I have always chosen a very bouncy inner sole shoe. The Fresh Foam 880v11 is outstanding in softening the impact on my hips, prolonging the life of my implants. I have used the model 680v5 for many years, but this new model it's even better. Thank you for making such a hi-tech shoe.

I was looking for an extra wide sneakers. Based on my previous purchases I picked the New Balance Fresh Foam 880v11 I am very happy with my pick. It's good looking, and super comfortable! New Balance's website is very easy to use, makes the purchase experience pleasurable. The cheeky discount offer also a very nice touch, makes the store very competitive. Overall I am very happy, and highly recommend this pair of sneakers and New Balance Australia's store to everyone!

I use my shoes for both resistance and cardio training and the 880v11 is serviceable/functional but no where as good as the 1080 that NB Australia has stopped offering their customers in 4E width... I'm not sure why New Balance has stopped offering the 1080 in the 4E width as its their premium shoe, seems like they don't care about the small percentage of customers that require a wide shoe.

After being told by NB that the 1080 was no longer an option in 4 E I was informed the 880 v11 would be a great replacement. Unfortunately this is not the case. I have been buying the 1080 for many years, a fantastic very comfortable shoe. Needless to say the 880 comes nowhere near the 1080. I have wasted my money & I will now need to look at the competition.
