Homedics QRM-400H Therapist Select Quad-Roller Shiatsu & Rolling Massaging Cushion with Heat

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mum. She has a back problem and I was worried she might be in pain when using it but it turns out she just LOVED it. It is very easy to use and the heat mode helps her relax. I'm glad I bought it for her. I should mention though that this chair is not the best choice for people that are quite tall since it won't reach their uppr back very well.

This product is very convienient. It's easy to move and use (just plug it in and the remote is in a little pocket attached to the side of the massager), the instructions are straightforward. Make sure to read them for proper choice of specific sofa or chair to place it on, and also because for some people the massage may be too much for thier backs and so i would suggest using a towel first to test. For example my sister used it without reading the instructions and the following days her back was hurting. Overall really great massager.

After comparing with ebay prices, I decided to purchase this "Homedics Therapist Quad Roller Massaging Cushion" from Walmart because it has similar price, and Walmart offer better after service. After I got it home, my first impression was how few massage function there was, basically two functions, roller up and down, and roller moving in circular motion. The strangth is non adjustable, it is not strong enough where it should be, and it is too strong where it doesnt need to be. And the roller doesn't go all the way up to my shoulders, neither does it go all the way down to my weist. It has limited movement and it made noises when I press my back on the pad. Over all, I think this was not a very comfortable design, and I would try another model. In the end, I decided to return this product to walmart.

This product is probably great for average and tall people. I found it a little too tall for my short back. Also, don't use it if you have an abnormally sensitive back. But if you are average size and don't have a super sensitive back, you will probably love this product.

As soon as I got this set up I removed the screw and everything and read the directions. Then, i decided to turn it on and it worked for a few minutes then it started to make a obnoxious banging noise and woke everyone in the house. The whole machine was banging and making a loud noise. I tried to turn the machine off but, it would turn off for a couple seconds and then automatically turn itself on again and start making the noise all over again. So, as a last resort I decided to unplug the massage chair from the socket and plug it back in again. Without even pressing anything in the remote it automatically started banging. This product is horrible and painful.
