Last one lasted about 8 years in Florida winters. Minnesota one has worked perfectly for las 10 years of Minnesota summers. We do take the outdoor sensor into the house for the 6 months we are not there in each case.
Easy to set up, great sisplay, easy to read.
This was a Father's Day gift and, on set-up, we discovered it was erratic in transmitting the outside temperature. We changed the batteries twice and tried a variety of locations for the transmitter, to no avail. I returned it to the store
Fantastic unit, works great, would recommend to anyone.
It is much smaller that what I expected but does job.
