LG G5 RS988 32GB Unlocked GSM 4G LTE Quad-Core Android Phone w/ 16 MP Camera - Black

The reason person is buying unlocked phone is to have a freedom. I still can't understand why this feature "wifi calling" in not enabled on this version??? This was the only reason why I sold my phone.

I purchased the LG G5 RS988 in November 2016. It immediately impressed me by being so obviously well built. I also ordered the Campus and extra battery. Those accessories have added a great deal to the outstanding versatility and joy to use this incredible smartphone. Once I had the G5 RS988 for long enough to put it through every application of use throughout all aspects of my day-to-day life, I became equally impressed with how amazingly fast and smooth the operational performance this smartphone delivers. I have owned other brands, both more expensive or more heavily promoted, but never has another been equal to the performance, value and pleasure that the LG G5 RS988 has provided. Now, I will soon have what I expect to be another excellent experience when the new LG G7 ThinQ I have on order arrives. I am, however keeping the LG G5 in the family. After the first day I was disappointed by the battery. Then I became used to charge it twice a day every once in a while, even if I don't think I'm a big user. Then I broke the camera lens cover. I replaced it. Now the volume button (down) is not working anymore. That's too much for only 8 months...

I have never been so satisfied with any phone like I am with the G5. I just can't understand how it can be so underrated in the "reviews" out there on the web. I fell in love with the LG brand since the G2 days, and this G5 is adequately continuing the tradition of excellence, performance and "out of the box" thinking that should have continued with the G6. I think it was too bad that the mass consumers believe what the "reviewers" say about the phone, affecting the sales of what is, in my opinion, one of the best phones out there, and the one that really should have set the evolution of mobile phones. I guess that LG had to switch back to a more traditional mindset with the G6 in order to achieve higher sales numbers. LG: Congratulations, on a job excellently done! camera is ok, memory storage is good,security is good. but have only had for 2 months and battery no longer wants to hold a good long charge as in the first month, fast charge has quit working, and when plugged in to charge battery goes completely dead and doesn't want to charge. seriously thinking about getting another device if I can afford it.
