First Years Elec Steam Sterilizer

I purchased this product after weeks of sanitizing the bottles and nipples with boiling water like a lot of my friends had recommended, but that took a lot of time and it also needed me standing in front of the hot stove. That was not fun especially if you have a crying baby at the same time. With this product, all you have to do is wash them and put all the bottles and nipples in the sanitizer and walk away.

This is my first online review but I felt compelled to help other moms find a great product. I read the varying reviews but bought this product anyways b/c I would never use a microwave version and the price was good compared to the competition. It works great!!! I know you can stop sterililzing after they are 6 weeks old, but why when it is so easy and only a 20 minute extra step to feeling better about the cleanliness of the item going into your babies mouth!! I have been using mine for 3 1/2 months and still love it!!! Sometimes I have to hold down the "ON" button a few seconds longer than other times but that's easy enough.

This is a lifesaver for me. We have a preemie so I was boiling bottles after EVERY use. Got tired of that b/c I would have to sit there boiling stuff for about an hour to get all of it done. Got this to save some time and absolutely love it! I just load it up and when it gets full (1 days worth of bottles) I just add the little bit of water and turn it on (takes about 15 minutes to sterilize) and I'm free to work on other stuff around the house and can go back to it when I get a chance to take everything out. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!

I've been using this product for about 2 months now, and I am quite content with the job it does. Nonetheless, If you have many bottles, nipples and accessories to steam, you might have to buy a second one or comply with having to use it several times to get everything steamed.

This is one of the best items we bought! I am pumping, so I pump, wash out the pump with water, immediately stick it in the sterilizer, it takes 30 seconds to set it up and 15 mins or so to run it, and everything is ready when I need to pump next. It is fabulous! It fits all size bottles and all the little parts of the pump with no problem. I would absolutley recommend this to anyone who does not want to spend all their free time at the sink making sure everything is clean and safe for baby.
