Here on the Forgotten Coast of Florida (on the Gulf Coast near Tallahassee) we have tons of natural beauty. The Gulf, bays, rivers, forests, swamps and all that comes with that - including flying bugs. Between April and October it's hard to drive anywhere without the windshield of the Jeep coming in contact with a number of insects large and small. From mosquitos and yellow flies to dragonflies, and let's not forget ... LOVEBUGS! These constant splatters make it tough to keep a clear view. Looking for a solution, I decided to give 303 Windshield Washer Tablets a try. After mixing up a batch according to the directions, I filled the reservoir tank and waited for the splat to happen. Compared to the OEM fluid, 303, boasting "3x Cleaning Power", performs as well or slightly better at removing fresh splatters and somewhat better removing the dried on splats. This product works well, doesn't seem to leave residue like the normal blue stuff and is easy to use. I'll be interested to see how it performs once it gets cold. My truck seems to freeze even with the stuff that isn't suppose to freeze when it drops into the single digits, so hopefully this will eliminate that problem.
