Radio Flyer Big Flyer 79P Girls Tricycle

I am very impressed with the quality and sturdiness of this trike. Easy to assemble and no problems with the ever present fit problems that arise in the cheaper models. I bought two of these, the first one I followed the directions for assembly, the second I assembled my way. Of course it is always faster after assembling one, but my way was even faster, putting assembly instructions in a different order. All in all, no problems to assemble with a minimum of tools required. I would recommend the removal of the white plastic flag holder, laying a bead of silicon into the recess, and then re-assembly............ both the girls pulled the assembly loose in a couple of days............ not a big deal, but this silicon application eliminates the problem. I lint pick this, but it will happen and will most likely need fixed down the road. Bigger screws (3) would be in order from the factory. All in all, I would buy this trike without hesitation !!! Kids love it (5 & 6 yrs. olds). One more thing, the metal handle bars are a plus as you can put a bell/siren or light on either side.... and the grips allow for streamers at the ends, just like we had years ago !!

My granddaughter is tiny so I wasn't sure if she would be able to ride this or not. I bought one for her brother in June. He is a year older than she. She was able to ride his with a little pillow behind her so went ahead & bought it for her & she rides it just fine. This was for her 3rd birthday. She loves it!!

They need to change the age recommendation. I bought it for my daughter's birthday, she was turning 4. She can peddle in a straight line but when she needs to turn, her feet no longer reach the petals. However, my 5 year found the bike perfect, she was zooming all over the place.

Purchased for my 5.5 yo daughter. Though she'd outgrow a small bike fast and think I'll get an extra Year of use out of this. Best of all you don't need a helmet or pads. She loves it.just like the old big Wheels of the past.

Granddaughter really enjoys riding her "Big Wheel". Ordered online with local store showing in stock. Was not in stock and had to wait three days. No big deal.
