This is one of my go-to lunch options during the week—warm, light, and comforting without being too heavy. The broth has good flavor, and the noodles and chicken hold up well even when reheated. It's a great choice to keep in the fridge for easy meals or to bring along to work.

I was excited to see that my local Walmart carries the Panera bread chicken noodle soup that I usually buy at the café. It has the same flavorful broth and it's very delicious with lots of herbs and spices and a really good amount of chicken and it. There's enough for two people if you just have a small amount and pair it with a sandwich.

I normally keep canned soup on hand because it's so convenient and easy to prepare when I want something quick to eat. I am not that familiar with refrigerated soups so I was interested to see how it compared to the canned versions. The 16 oz is plenty big for a decent serving. (although I do wish there was less broth and a little more of the other goodies) You can prepare either on the stovetop (my preferred method) or in the microwave. I just think that food tastes better when prepared on the stovetop. It heats evenly and I can stir when necessary to prevent boiling hot/lukewarm temperature differentials. I was pleased with the flavor of the chicken noodle soup. The broth isn't overpoweringly salty. It contains a nice savory broth, antibiotic free chicken, carrots, noodles and celery. The chicken is tender, juicy and easily recognizable as chicken, lol. The noodles are perfectly soft and tender. It definitely has a homestyle vibe going on. I wouldn't say that it's bland but it isn't like in-your-face flavorful either. As with most ready to eat soups, the sodium content is quite high. One container contains 1,360 mg (59%) of your daily sodium. So, for that reason, I normally limit how often I eat these kinds of soups. However, I really enjoyed the flavor and would definitely buy it again for that reason!

I bought Panera Bread Ready-to-Heat Chicken Noodle Soup, 16 oz Soup Cup (Refrigerated) for my family to eat, and I found this soup to be a bit on the pricey side, but it does taste pretty good. First off, the soup is very easy to prepare. You can either microwave it or heat it up on the stove, but either way, I imagine it tastes pretty good. On our end, I decided to microwave the soup and I thought it was pretty easy to prepare. (Just be sure to stir it after about two minutes. The soup does come out pretty hot too, so you'll probably want to let it cool before digging in. I also like that I can identify most of the ingredients that go into making this soup and I like that it has only 240 calories per container. The only thing that I don't like is the price, as I think it's a bit overpriced for the amount of soup in the container. That being said though, if you're okay with the price, I do recommend that you give Panera Bread Ready-to-Heat Chicken Noodle Soup, 16 oz Soup Cup (Refrigerated) a try.
