I'm very pleased with the Super R-Lipoic Acid. I could feel it working almost immediately, with a noticeable increase in energy and mental clarity. Within days I also experienced increased regularity. I've been taking 2 capsules first thing in the morning, before eating, and after a month's use I feel years younger!

It is very difficult for me to say that a single nutrient has been effective and beneficial to me. I haven't performed any baseline or current tests to definitively prove this. However, I can say without any doubt that my life has changed for the better since I have been taking products from Life Extension. I am more energetic, not as prone to the cold as others and feel more happy overall. I believe they have everyone's best interests at heart to live a longer and more productive life.

Several years ago I was diagnosed with Type-II diab. I was not content to follow the AMA protocols and my body could not tolerate the standard prescription. It would reduce my blood sugars by about 10 and reduce the nerve damage in my feet caused by those sugars. My feet no longer have the numbness and hypersensitivity in the toes. This product is one of my gotos when I relapse into bad habits. As a side issue my podiatrist was treating a ganglion nerve by sclerosing it with 4 % alcohol. I asked if the Lipoic acid would counteract the procedure. She said that it would not, and went further to say, that lipoic acid is very good for nerve health in the feet and I should continue to use it.
