OtterBox Defender Series - Protective case for tablet - polycarbonate, synthetic rubber - purple, pink - 9.7"

I have used Defender cases on my phones for years with great results. That's why I ordered one for my iPad. But I was disappointed with the fit. It was very tight getting it to snap together and the screen protector would not sit touching the screen. So using the iPad, I had to mash the protector until it touched the screen before it would “click” on anything on the screen. So I ended up peeling the screen protector off of an expensive case just to make it fit & work properly. This is disappointing after spending this much money on a case and having such good fit for my iPhones that I've had.

I use OBs for all of my stuff. Quality fit on this one seems to have missed the mark. Very hard to fit my iPad Pro into the case & I can see and hear a double tap coming from the protective screen of the OB and the iPad screen. Granted, every mfg can have a bad batch, but after 30 plus OBs, I know how they fit. I just haven't gotten around to returning this one.

Nice and rugged, but took tools to snap it together because the fit is that tight: There are two holes in the screen protector in the top corners that are for nothing other than to let dust and moisture under the cover, nice job look at the photo

I bought this a little over a month ago. the case holds up fine and is known for being tough. I've got two things I wish they would fix with this case. this case does not come with any kind of clip or on the hard plastic case. there is also a thin plastic cover over the home button that is very flimsy and easy to tear or break.

We have otter box cases on all our iPhones and iPads to protect them. Otter box is durable and protects our electronics even when dropped. I have used them for years and they are like insurance on the product. We have never had a lens cracked or shattered. I wouldn't do without Otterbox and I highly recommend it.
