Spider-Man Sneaker Skates

My son loved the skates when he first received them. However, as the day went on and he actually skated in them and walked around in them, they became very cumbersome. He found them to be too heavy for his feet and the wheels kept popping out even when he was simply walking. The mechanism that keeps them in place is faulty and it could cause him to lose his balance or fall and hurt himself. I would not recommend this product because I believe that it is very poorly made.

My son loved these skate shoes. My only complaint is that I wish you could tighten the wheels up so he could roll by himself and learn to skate. Right now when he has the wheels down he needs help skating. I love the fact that you can push the wheels in and wear them as regular shoes! However, they are very heavy.

I purchased these skates for my 3 year old and they are very bulky, heavy and difficult for him to use. They have small roller skating wheels under in the front and back and my son can open and close them. I thought he could use them as roller skates and then walkin them like sneakers but they are too chunky and it would be very difficult for any child to walk in them all day!

I bought these shoes for my nephew for Christmas 2007 and I don't know if he has taken them off yet. They are all he talks about. They are very heavy and the wheels are sometimes difficult to engage or else they would have gotten 5 stars all around. And as usual a great price.

My 5 yr old son loves these skates. He saw them in the store before Christmas and had a meltdown because I would not leave with them right there. He shaped up his attitude and earned them for Christmas. The laces are too long and the hard soles are loud on my tile.
