These MAM bottles feature a special vent and nipple design for less air intake, less gas and less colic.

BPA free Bottle features special vent and nipple design which interact with each other to replicate breastfeeding for less air intake, less gas and less colic The shape, design, placement and construction of the vent within the MAM bottle allows for a continuous and ultra sensitive response, preventing a build up of internal vacuum The center of the vent opens and closes to release vacuum from the bottle in a continuous process during nursing This continuous opening and closing process is what allows the nipple to react like a breast It allows the nipple to deliver milk in an uninterrupted process just like the breast during breastfeeding The breast shaped nipple contains internal rib structures to encourage "stripping" action and eliminate nipple collapse The silky textured area replicates the soft skin of a mother's breast Model #5563

This is a great bottle. My 3 month old son likes it and he is mostly breast fed. It is sometimes tricky to put the pieces together so it doesn't leak. All of the parts make it a bit more difficult to clean also. Overall though, it works great.

I haven't used the bottles yet, my baby is due in 2 weeks, but the reason I got them is because with my first child I had bottles very similar from playtex that I loved, but now with the concern of BPA I got these, They were a little expensive but with good reasons why, they really do help with gas and assembly is a little more complicated, but also also easier to clean. Overall good product!

From the start I had a feeling I didn't like these bottles. There are too many parts. It is hard to warm milk in because of the bottoms. The first time I tried it on my breastfed baby, the milk was leaking everywhere. He didn't like the flat nipple. It was in the middle of the night and I had to run to switch it to my born free bottle while he was crying hysterically.

my baby took well to the nipple for me, though my daycare provider has not had the same results. the valve is kind of a joke. it takes some serious suction to pull air through it. mostly my baby has to let go to allow air to go into the nipple. I filled bottle with water and tried it myself, I actually had a hard time sucking hard enough to pull air through. They are pretty rugged bottles, no risk of cross threading and are heavy on the bottom to help keep from tipping over. they are not everything i had hoped, but I don't regret buying them.

I struggled when it came to writing a review for this product. The price was great for a BPA free bottle, and they are really cute and my baby seems to go from the breast to the bottle with no trouble. However, the bottles do leak if they are not put together correctly, which only was an issue in the beginning when my mom and other relatives were here tp help out they often didn't get them put together correctly. The other issue I had (alo in the beginning) was that the ounce indicator only goes to 2 oz, so you have to guess at any milk drank that's under that numbr. My little guy was having a hard time taking the bottle in the beginning and the amount you were getting down him really mattered, so it was frustrating not knowing if he drank an ounce or if it was less and if so how much?!? Obviously this doesn't last for long and once they can drink more than 2 oz at a feeding there's no problem. Bottom line is that I think these bottles are great for the price, and they are cute looking, I'm considering purchasing the larger size when the time comes.
