Homestyles General Line Wood Rolling Kitchen Cart in Brown

Totally awesome. This item was even better then expected. I was looking for something for temporary use until I can afford to remodel kitchen.. To get something that was on sale & more then I expected. The height was equal that of my counter types. Storage was key, the number one reason for needing what was lacking in this house built in 2000, with just the 2 under kitchen spaces, with half shelves. Now I know how much of what I have (alas duplicate items). I no longer have to have a unit built and designed unique. This fits the bill perfectly. Including storage for my Kitchen Aide mixer & side instruments, slow cookers, add'l coffee maker supplies, silverware, baking supplies including glass dishes, bowls and instruments. I can move the island around according in order to stay involved w/guests and keep it stationary so it stays put with brakes on the casters. I am so excited now having all my walls painted, carpeting ripped out and laminate put down, which the coloring of the island matches perfectly. This includes my living room furniture that I had recovered with material I found on line and only had a small swatch to go with. Which, BTW, found pillows, lamp shade & lamp also purchased on line from Walmart. The quality of what they are offering is really awesome. So many improvements! The idea of going to a higher end store is silly unless you are about the name & not the quality. I only add the additional information since I have an open room floor design, which having a sense of it look like it was always here was important. I promise everyone I would never recommend something if I didn't totally love it myself. That is the one promise I make to all of you who is looking for and is leery of buying something on line, especially a big piece of furniture, which I consider this island to be. If any of you request pictures please let me know. I only had it put together this afternoon, so there is still organization to be done. I would also like to add that items have generally come before delivery date suggested. If anyone needs add'l info, please feel free to ask.

The table seems much bigger than I expected, but it is great now that it is together. There was a panel damaged in shipping, but the replacement part arrived in just over a week, so that was great. The storage space is great and the fact that the breakfast bar fold down is great to free up space and uses standard bar height stools.

I bought this kitchen island online and wasn't sure what to expect when I saw it in person. I was very happy with the quality and color of it. It fits wonderfully in my kitchen and it was very simple to assemble. My husband and I assembled this in a few hours. I love the cabinets that are in it. I have a lot of extra space for my things now. It's a great product for the price. I also like that all I have to do it roll it out of the way when I clean my kitchen floor. It's very easy to move.

The top and doors are 100%wood, but the side panels and the back panels are compress board. After putting the whole cabinet together one of the side panels had a crack in it, from the pressure of putting on the real wood top (I'm guessing). This product is really nice, but for $300.00 You might be able to buy a 100% whole wood rolling cabinet. But if you can not then this one is great!

From the looks of the online photos, this would have been a nice addition to my new kitchen. But, the product was damaged so I had to return it.
