This pen is my favorite, I am an engineer and I use this pen for sketching and commenting, It gives the happiness to use it as it remind you with the childhood color pens only much more durable and flexible. The colors are vibrant and nice. It is highly recommended.
In my childhood, my uncle, an architect, gave me one from his desk when I visited his office. I used the pen for everything (much to the annoyance of my 5th grade teachers) until it was entirely depleted. I threw away the pen at that point and forgot about it, until a few years ago when searching for a good work pen… I remembered the pen from my uncle, but couldn’t recall the specifics. My uncle, who uses a variety of utensils for his work, couldn’t remember which pen he’d given me. I’ve settled for other, sub-par fiber tip pens, until now. Here it is, stumbled upon by accident, and it’s just as great as I remembered.
I’m a comic artist and a self proclaimed pen snob. I absolutely love pens. I had never used this style of pen before until I found one in a craft store a while back. I tested it on the swatch notebook and fell in love instantly so I bought four. I’ve been using it for my comics and other various drawings since. I love the diverse line weights you can get with this pen and how it doesn’t bleed through thin paper. It’s smooth and dark and I love the way it feels on paper. My only complaint is that the ink is water based but I can live with that.
Not the bees knees. Very much a felt-tip pen (also known as a fiber tip pen). Based on looks, it looks like it would be flexible, but it is not. It is VERY rigid. It also makes a TERRIBLE noise when you hold you it upright or put any pressure on it. On the plus side, it is very comfortable to hold and the grip is nice. Overall, it is not meant for cursive writing/sketching. I do feel that it is more suitable for print and finalized writings. TLDR; great for final drafts, terrible for rough drafts and quick notes.
Upto now I've only owned one Sign Pen I purchased many years ago. It has not dried up and still writes like the day I took the cap off. It is a perfect pen to jot things down on glossy page calendars. I just purchased a few more in different color inks and hope the news ones hold up to the old one.
