Graco Swing By Me Baby Swing, In Go Gree

I was given this swing as a gift from my parents. Had I read reviews, I wouldn't have purchased it on my own. My son is a bigger baby and this swing just doesn't have the power to move him. He weighs about 15 lbs and even with brand new batteries, it hardly moves and makes a loud clicking noise. I'm really disappointed. I own a lot of Graco items but this is making me rethink future purchases. The product info is straight up wrong. It doesn't work anywhere close to 25.5 lbs.

We bought this because it was the perfect size for our very small place. It was a disappoinment. First the motor is loud, even thou my baby would try to sleep while in it, the constact "tac tac tac" of the notor didn't let her. I was willing to deal with that but when batteries had died after only 4x we used it we had to return it

I was excited when I saw this swing because it was exactly what I was looking for. It was great for the first few days then it stopped swinging even after replacing batteries. I am very disappointed. I am currently looking for a new swing and I haven't even had this one for a month. would not recommend it. sorry

I bought this swing for my newborn, the Dakota model. After reading other reviews, it's obvious I'm not the only one who's having a problem. There's no place on the packaging that states that if your baby is 10 pounds or more (within "newborn" size, even at the very least), the swing will not work when the baby is in it. Its ridiculous. I really wish I'd checked the reviews before we bought it. DON'T BUY THIS MODEL if you plan on using it for more than a week, or if your baby doesn't plan on gaining any weight.

It was easy to put together and seems very sturdy. It's also pretty to look at. The baby isn't here yet so we haven't used it but it seems very adequate for our needs and is portable enough to take with us (like to the beach) since it's battery operated. That will give us freedom to use it anywhere.
