We use this to wrangle small tools in the garage and store high so we don't have an avalanche when we need them. So far, so good. Sturdy given its holey.
So far these are sturdy. Tornado Recovery is a job. These are helping to make organizing a little easier. Will update if needed. ---MsStaceyL
I bought these to stack on their sides, one on top another, to make a cheap shelving unit for towels and whatnots in my kids' bathroom as well as in a hall with lacking storage space. Over the course of a couple months, the sides of the crates began to bow outward under the weight of the items. I moved the heavy items to the bottom in the hall, but could only surmise that the humidity in the bath was the problem because there is nothing of any weight on those shelves. (The white patterned basket has charging cords and plugs and weighs a pound at most.) This shelf unit in the bathroom leaned so far forward that I couldn't get a spray can of air freshener to stand on top (it fell forward). I put door stops under the bottom to position it upright again. The hall shelving stack has leaned so far forward as to be a true hazard. It held things like a kickball and side walk chalk, a 3lbs tire inflator, sleeves of diapers, etc. Not weighty per item but weighty all together. Again, I placed all the heavy things at the bottom and only use the top units for lightweight things, which has negated the purpose some since I have probably 2 units I can't use as intended. I placed wooded blocks (4 of them) under this shelving unit to hold it upright because it was leaning much further forward and needed much more support. TL;DR? These crates won't hold up to stacking them on their sides for shelving units. The side frames bow out under a very small amount of weight leaving the unit unstable.
Ok so I really wanted a shelf to fit in the corner of my room to store my body care products but these did the job and well.
Inside measurements are a lot smaller than outside measurements. I purchased zip notebooks %26 needed bookshelves to hold them. Had to stand them up instead of laying them down like I wanted.
