I received a free product in exchange for a review. I really liked using this sippy cup with my daughter. She had minimal leaks and spills with this cup and the handles were great for her dexterity level. The cup is dishwasher safe which is a plus and also BPA-free. Great product!!!
First sippy cup my 8 month old has been able to hold by himself and actually get a drink. I should mention I was sent a free sample to use for this review. Compared to the other sippy cups we have tried to get him to use, this is the only one he has been able to really use. He hasn't been able to fully grip and hold others. The design is great for his little hands and developing skills! And the penguin is so cute.
This sippy cup was provided to me so I could try it out and provide some feedback, and I really like it. My child can handle it quite easily, it`s easy to clean and I really like the design. I like this cup so much there is nothing I would change, I`ve already suggested it to a couple of friends.
I received a free sample of this cup and was super excited to give it a whirl. Right out of the box, I was feeling the design. It was short and squat, had two handles, and a cute penguin design. One thing about sippies that anger me is how SO MANY styles and brands leak even when they claim to be "leak proof." However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that this cup held up and was actually leak proof! It endured several hard throws to the ground and still prevailed. My daughter is just getting used to cups and the double handles are much easier for her negotiate. My 3 yr old used it too and seemed to enjoy it. I like how it's clear so I can see how much liquid remains in the cup. I also love how it's just two pieces, the cup and the lid, so that it's a breeze to clean and I don't have to track down a bunch of other pieces #like straws, inserts, etc#. It seems pretty durable so far. The BPA free is another added plus, as I would steer clear of ones that weren't. The only con is that it is on the short side, so it doesn't hold a ton. Also the black/grey color is a tad boring, but I guess would appeal to those who don't like the stereotypical pink and blue. Personally, i'd like other colors like purple, orange, yellow, etc.
I was excited to receive the Philips Avent Sippy Cup as a free sample because I was wanting to introduce my 13 month old to a sippy cup and hadn't had a chance to buy one yet. This sippy cup seemed like the perfect size for my baby to use as her first sippy. It was a little bit of a rough transition at first when I gave my baby the sippy instead of her bottle. She put it in her mouth and tried to suck on it for just a couple of seconds before she got mad and asked for her bottle. She did this the whole first and second day of me trying to introduce the sippy. However on the third day I put some juice in the sippy and sat down with her to try and encourage her to use it. Once she got the hang of it she seemed to love it. The size was perfect for her little hands and I felt like the 7 oz was a good amount for her as her first sippy cup. The design was really cut and I loved how easy it was to clean. This sippy is definitely getting a lot of love around our house now.
