Holmes Water-filled Whole Room Radiator #HWH2605-UM

I already had an oil filled heater and I liked it. I used it to heat my daughters room(10'x10'). My propane bill has gotten so rediculous that I decided to combat it by going more electrical. I bought 4 of these water heaters. Two for the living/family/TV room, one for our bedroom and one for my sons room. A week after getting them we had a cold spell of three days in the teens and twenties. I set these at the temperature I desired and left them on all three days and turned my thermostat down to 60. The thermostat only came on a couple of times at night and the rooms stayed comfortable the whole time only on the medium setting at 3/4 range. The living/family/tv room is about 25'x30', and bedrooms 10'x12' and 10'x 14'. It isn't instantaneous heat but when heated up it offers great overall radiant heat that keeps all rooms very comfortable, and it is so much cheaper than the propane. For my family...A very worthwile investment at a reasonable price.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE HEATERS. I BOUGHT THREE BECAUSE OUR FURNACE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND I WANTED TO GET THROUGH THIS HEATING SEASON FIRST. ALL 3 WORK GREAT. MY WHOLE HOUSE, 12000SF, STAYED VERY COMFORTABLE. WE ARE GOING TO SWITCH OVER TO A GEO-THERMAL SYSTEM AND THESE WILL BE GREAT TO HAVE AROUND NEXT SEASON IF IT GETS BITTER COLD. We purchased 2 of these heaters to heat 2 of the bedrooms in our trailer house in northern Minn. We have been able to close the heat vents to those rooms which is making the furnace run less frequently and for shorter periods of time. We are already seeing less propane usage which was our hope in buying these heaters. These are radiant heaters- it will take more time to warm the room up than a conventional heater with a fan. It took about half a day to warm up our master bedroom with bath, but once it was warmed up it stayed nice and toasty. These heaters have worked well for us and I highly recommend them. I do believe they work best in a closed room and with an outdoor day temperature above zero.

My house is an L-shaped ranch with my bedroom making the house into the "L". This means that three of my bedroom's four walls are exterior walls. Due to poor insulation, my bedroom stays about 5 degrees colder than the rest of my house during the winter. I bought this product to remedy that situation, and it has worked beautifully. Initial setup was easy. I plugged it in, set it on its highest power setting and highest temperature setting. My bedroom went from 5 degrees below house temperature to 5 degrees above in about 8 hours. I then changed it to its lowest power setting, and, with some trial-and-error on the thermostat over the next few days, was able to get it to maintain the room's temperature just where I wanted it. I just got my latest utility bill, and was surprised to see that its impact was almost negligible (despite being on 24/7). Highly recommended!

Our family couldn't be more pleased with the Holmes Water-filled Whole Room Radiator. We live in a multi-leveled home and these heaters are being used in 2 upstair bedrooms, supplementing our household heating system. The radiators heat up within 10 minutes of turning them on, and provide a quiet, soft, comfortable heat throughout the night. Best of all - they are safe, very affordable, and economical to use. An excellent buy.
