The Art of Shaving Sandalwood After-Shave Balm, 1 Oz

There is no alcohol to iritate your skin and it goes on smooth and leaves absolutely no residue. I cant say it enough, the sandalwood is wonderful, strong and powerful but not overbearing. A smooth finish to a great shave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ocean Kelp Post Shave lotion moisturized my face and left a nice light scent. It was the perfect ending to the most perfect shave. I have had the best experience with The Art of Shaving products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the after-shave lotion is a pleasant smell, it left more burn than my usual after-shave balm. This was a little unpleasant, but given the reduction of irritation, it is possible that it helped.

I think this is more of my issue than the product. I have never been a fan of lotion, so the notion of adding this to my face after shaving was difficult. Although soothing, I live in southern Georgia, which means heat and humidity. That means anything on your face makes it difficult for the pores to breath. I don't like anything on my face, but it did smell good and seemed to do the. Job of an after shave. Sorry Art of Shaving, I'm certain if I was a lotion guy, yours would be great, just like the rest of your products. Ryan
