My Life As Baker 18-inch Posable Doll with a Soft Torso, African American

we bought this for my daughter for Christmas after she had received one for her birthday a month prior..since she loved hers so much. She rarely puts either of her dolls down! Beautiful features!

My 4 year old daughter received this doll as a Christmas gift from her dad. (She wanted a doll who's eyes open and close). She was so excited when she opened it became it looks just like her and has the same hair. After a quick google check I found out the doll has wire in its legs making them bendable for easy sitting. (Although it does look a little weird) The eyes open and close as expected and the plastic arms, legs and face makes for easy cleaning. The arm and leg joints are a little stiff making it difficult for her to maneuver but that's expected with a new doll, I'm sure with time they will loosen up. The doll will stand on its on with or without the shoes but the doll has to lean forward ever so slightly to stand so she looks like she might be falling from the side view. She hasn't taken the hair down yet so I'm not sure how that would look or if it's easy to brush. I can tell you the dolls hair is soft and the curls are beautiful. He also bought the doll a couple outfits, the pants are a little on the tight side making it difficult for her to change its clothes, a older child shouldn't have any problems with it. Considering the doll cost under $30.00 it's makes for an affordable first doll, I definitely recommend this doll.
