Hamilton Beach General Purpose Filter | Model# 04230G

I really love my air cleaners. They work super well to keep allergens down and also keep down dust. I change filters about every 3 moths and they are just filled with yucky stuff. Who would have known that was in the air we are breathing. My only wish is that they were always the same size. Sometimes the filters are really thick - and, those don't fit into my unit as well as the ones with regular thickness. I never use the tablets or air freshener because I have asthma. Those items from the box get thrown out with the wrapping. We utilize the filters only and have 1 unit upstairs in the laundry and the other downstairs in the living area.

I use this plug-in filter for a small room with a litter box because dust accumulates so frequently. It may be small but it is effective judging from all that is trapped on the filter.

These filters are good, think the Tobacco ones work better..but for some reason they are a lot higher in price. I love the unit these go in. It collects so much stuff. By the time I change these, which is about 2 months, they are no longer black at all.

I would not even give this company 1 star do not order from them I ordered the filters got a arriving date the item never came. I checked the tracking to see they where never shipped. Contacted Walmart and the seller. Seller said they would ship out again they never shipped the items. Contacted Walmart they made it right and refunded the purchase. Order theses from amazon got them in 4 days!!! Dont order from this seller !!!!!!

the machine is fantastic i haven't had to change the filter yet as i've only had a few months.... the reason i would not recommed this to any one is that they do not make the machine anymore and the filter are hard to get hold of .. when i found this out i went straight to hamilton beach web sight and ordered 5 filters from them so i have enough for hopefully a few years..
