I have had this GPS for about 2 weeks now. It was my first GPS and I must say this product far exceeded my expectations. I took it out of the box plugged into outlet and it worked perfectly. The price is what got me.... $94 and free shipping with site to store. I use this all day since I am in sales and only once did it not find address (it was a brand new street and development!) I love that it can show videos and pictures and broadcast MP3's to FM in my car. GREAT PRODUCT!!! Go Sanyo and save a bunch of money!!!
Guys, The best kept secret.........I purchased a Sanyo Easy Street NVM-470 portable GPS device from Walmart. The item was dirt cheap at $94.00....with shipping the item was delivered quickly to my house for about $104.00. I just came back from a trip from Houston, Tx. I used this device to get around.....very easy to use GPS device. The directions are easy to follow, and the directions were very accurate! I'm very pleased with this item, and even more pleased about the price I paid! Thank you Walmart for the outstanding deal!
Very easy to use. Can listen to turn by turn directions thru car speakers with an FM station frequency. I had it for a couple weeks now and use it when needed with all street names I need found with just a couple of the first letters typed in. I would recommend 100% for people to purchase.
I've used the gps unit for three weeks at work and on one trip. The price sounded too good to be true for all of the features of the product, and I nearly didn't purchase it due to that, but did anyway. I've had problems with the bluetooth feature, the unit has locked up with a "fatal error" message a couple of times, and on a trip last weekend it got me lost when I tried to go around a traffice jam, and in the middle of that the voice instructions quit working. There is a good reason why this unit is priced less than $100, you get what you pay for.
...best describes the Sanyo Easy Street's ability to satisfy, far as I'm concerned. After a few fits and starts - my fumbling fault - I managed to get GPS data appropriate to my location. This was my first. I love its 4" screen and find it comparable in most respects to the competition. It navigates beautifully and even adjusts to any errant route I choose. I suppose that feature is probably present in any decent GPS. This being my first, I wouldn't know. But. Big but. It does not, I repeat does not accommodate my Treo 700 w/Blue Tooth. Also, if the software is uploaded from a PC it is unfortunate the same method isn't used to add audio and video files in lieu of requiring a cell phone to accomplish uploads. Guess its generational. Other than those exceptions I am very happy with the unit. I'm keeping it and plan a trip to A.C. just to employ it.
