Belkin TuneBase FM for iPod

My fiance and I each bought one of these docks. The only complaint I had with mine was that the swivel that holds the iPod came loose really fast. I used mine daily for about 4-5 months. Then, it just stopped working. My fiance couldn't get his to work in his truck at all. The plug was too big for the cigarette lighter. I took his once mine broke and his only worked for about 2 months. If you want something that works well and will last, then I suggest spending a little extra to get something with a little more quality.

This item is supposed to transmit a signal from your ipod to your stereo and play your ipod over the car raidio. Well it fails to do that. I tried to transmit over many frequencies from the low end to the high end and it always left static and while it played the music it sounded like you were listening to it from far away, kind of a hollow sound. Do not buy this product. I have purchase two of these hoping that I just found one bad one. This is not the case. The product is way too expensive to work so poorly.

I used the first one for a while, cuz there was nothing better easily available. Was not impressed with the frequency connection, same with the newest version. The first one also broke on me after about a month. This one and the newest one, come through loud, but have constant static through the radio even when your ipod is paused. For $90 I would not recommend this to anyone, maybe if it was only $40, although got the itrip today and it is very clear, jus the audio quality isn't as good, would trade it for the static any day though.

I almost feel like this product could overpower any radio frequency. I was very satisfied with this product. After having returned another transmitter this one was what I had been looking for.

Bought this for my teenage daughter for Christmas and she loves it. Playback quality is good. Only drawback: because it is plugged into the cigarette lighter changing songs is difficult.
