[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] {I did receive this set through an incentivized campaign.} In love! I was a bit skeptical trying this out as I have not used this brand before (typically use Eleven), however, I am pleasantly surprised! My hair immediately felt healthy, moisturized, and less frizzy. For reference, I am Korean American and have thick corse hair. I have a difficult time with hair products making my hair more frizzy. I am very happy with this brand thus far and will be repurchasing once I run out!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was just very average for me; not great, not bad, just ok. It lathers well and has an average scent. It's not too hydrating to where someone with oil prone roots couldn't use it, but I also don't feel that it would do much for someone who needs extra hydration either. I don't think you'll be upset if you pick it up, but I also don't feel like it does any better than a drugstore brand either.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Amika Hydro Rush Intense Moisture Conditioner with Hyaluronic Acid wasn't anything special to me, it was like using a regular conditioner, it made my hair feel soft, but I really didnt notice much of a change of the amount of frizz in my hair. After getting out of the shower my hair felt much greasier than it normally does. Although the packaging is super cute, I dont believe that the product itself really lives up to the hype. I wasn't a big fan of the scent either, I would've preferred something that had a stronger fruity smell to it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Amika Hydro Rush Intensive Moisture shampoo and conditioner. I received these products for free from Influencer and Amika in exchange for my honest review. I used the shampoo followed by the conditioner. My first impression was that the shampoo seemed to have a thinner consistency than I was used to. In the shower my hair felt moisturized but after a rinse it felt pretty normal. I don't think it really made any difference in the moisture level of my hair.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the shampoo & conditioner for a few weeks. I have long fairly fine hair, but a lot of it. I am due for a haircut and my ends are very dry. I generally only shampoo & condition once or twice a week. I've tried this shampoo & conditioner alone without any other hair products (to test) as well as with my normal heat protectants. The only real “pro” in my opinion is that my husband LOVES the scent. Personally I didn't notice it much & it's just kind of light and clean, but he comments on it each time. Sadly, I don't like how this leaves my hair. The ends somehow seem more dry, but my scalp is more oily. My scalp was also extremely itchy for a couple of days after my first use. It's like the hair has a residue left on it even though after the first time I made SURE everything was thoroughly rinsed. That feeling was still there and I need to wash my hair more often with this (and no other hair or lifestyle changes). As others have said, it's a very thin runny shampoo so you end up using more than normal. This will run out quickly for me. I don't like the tall thin bottles because they fall over easily. I do appreciate that the caps are different colors and it comes out easily. I would try this brand again, but not this particular line.
