3M Scotch 2040 Solvent Resistant Masking Tape is a tough, solvent resistant masking tape that provides excellent adhesion while minimizing the need for rework through resisting bleed through and flaking. The powerful adhesive prevents lifting, makes application more efficient, and holds exceptionally well, while not damaging surfaces/coatings after removal. Intended for use with most solvent-based lacquer coatings but also can be used in various masking applications. Do not use on easily damaged surfaces such as wallpaper, wallboard, ceiling tile, uncured coatings, or other delicate surfaces. Not for extended outdoor use. Carrier/Backing: crepe paper.
