DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED. THIS PRODUCT WAS DAMAGED. WALMART DOES NOT REFUND OR REPLACE PRODUCT. I PUT THE CHAIR TOGETHER. IT WAS UNEVEN AND ROCKING MEANING ANYONE THAT SAT IN IT IN A SHOWER WOULD HAVE FALLEN. LAW SUIT. SHOPPING AMAZON FROM NOW ON
Horrible quality, this bench says it supports 350 lbs. I am 300 lbs and a leg gave out while I was using it in the shower. It bent and I could have hurt myself. I do not recommend this chair if you are a bigger person. Walmart did give me my money back even though it said no returns.
When I use it in the shower I feel a lot safer and very comfortable. The seat is textured and the legs are adjustable so it fits my needs. I dry it and am able to sit down to do everything I would usually do while standing in front of the sink. The rubber covers on the bottom of each leg don't scratch the tub or floor. It is light and easy to move.
It is small enough to fit in a standard older tub, which is helpful. The one downside is it’s rather lightweight and unstable. I got it for my elderly father to help with bathing. He can sit on it just fine, but it is not stable enough to hang onto while stepping into the tub.
It's really nice and comfortable. However, if you are reading the other reviews you need to know that the instructions stress that you should tighten the screws every time you use this. It is a bit slippery when you are soapy, but all shower chairs have this problem. People solve this problem by putting a hand towel on the seat.
