Impressive! Nicely accomplished what it is supposed to. First thing is that it tastes really good. After taking 1 scoop in the morning, it clears you out in about two hours. Not the diarrhea kind of clearing out, the good kind of clearing out. Mix it in quickly and drink up because it does turn thicker quickly.
Bellway Psyllium Super Fiber Prebiotic Sugar-Free, Fruit Punch These supplements are great to keep the digestive system working smoothly and I have used several in the past. I use the supplement for two weeks before I post a review or make a decision. You must use them consistently in order for them to work. What I didn’t like about this supplement: - [ ] I’m not a big fan of Psyllium. To me, personally psyllium is a little harder on the system. - [ ] This does not taste like fruit punch. - [ ] The color is not fruit punch when I think of fruit punch I think of red this color is a brownish orange. What I did like: - [ ] The taste wasn’t bad, it is sweet. - [ ] It’s sugar free. (Stevia) This is something I normally cannot consume because of my stomach conditions. - [ ] The consistency of the supplement is light, so it mixes well. The product works pretty good, not as good as some of the others I have used, but good.
I tried this super fiber drink that is fruit punch flavor and it seems okay, nothing really special. One good thing is that it does have decent fruit punch flavor. It doesn't really have much protein in the powder, only a bit of potassium and iron which isn't that nutritious. I would prefer something that has vitamin as well. In term of usage, it is easy to make and has clear instructions, which I appreciate. Now does it help digestion? I would say, it does do it job only okay-ish. It helps with my digestion to a small extend, nothing too game changing. The taste of the powder after mixing with water is okay, not something that I would prefer to drink. I'd prefer to take medication if anything. Overall, I would not recommend this item as I don't see it being too helpful and I'd give it a 3/5.
I don't like to write bad reviews so I'll try to give an opinion. I mixed up this drink with a positive attitude hoping it would work well for me. I took one drink and I just couldn't get past the taste . I found it very displeasing. I can't say if it works because the taste was so disagreeable that I had to pour it out. The fruity flavor was overwhelming. With this kind of product I always look for something unflavored that mixes with any beverage . I can't recommend this product unless the manufacturer comes up with a different flavor.
This powder is edible as a mix-in with water or other sodas (I like it with a citrus soda or a soda flavored similar to the powder, like a cherry cola for the fruity powder). I have tried both the tropical twist and fruit punch flavored powders, and I like both flavors. The tropical twist resembles more of an applesauce taste and texture to me, and the fruit punch has a mixed berry flavor to me. If you prepare it as recommended, it is a bit gelatinous (like a gelatin with fruit blended in it). I don't mind this texture, but it is more drinkable if you add more liquid (either water or soda or juice). I especially like to sneak this powder into other dry powders and flours, such as breakfast oatmeal/grits, cookies and brownies (which seemingly disguise all miscellaneous flavors), and breads (especially banana bread). I add a couple of scoops (usually about three) for a bread or cookie/brownie recipe, and about 1/2 cup to about 8-10 servings of oatmeal. There are tons of recipes online if you search for recipes for XXX with psylium powder. The bottom line is that this product actually works...it results in more frequent stools (which is the point, right?).
